  My brother died April 4, 2015. Supposed to be a Memorial Service at Kern Mortuary on the 25th of April. There is no follow-up as there has been no obituary published for him and it is now 2 weeks later.

  Our initial meeting was good, but follow-up was poor. Our father was a veteran and buried at Riverside Nat'l Cemetery (RNC). Although Kern worked with us on the date of the funeral, they didn't have the ashes available prior to the funeral, and we had to go to the crematorium in Victorville to pick them up. We had to return to Kern for something, and found that they had forgotten to give us the flag for the ceremony. After the funeral, we received a call from RNC stating that they didn't have the info for the headstone. When we contacted Kern, they said they had faxed the info, but there was no follow up to see if RNC had received it.
